Salman Khan no longer needs court permission for overseas travel

After his poaching case, there was an order on Salman Khan to apply for permission before travelling abroad, which his team were trying to overturn. It seems they have been successful in their endeavour.

“We had moved an application seeking permanent exemption for Khan from taking permission of the court every time he has to travel abroad. The court allowed the application,” said the actor’s counsel Hastimal Saraswat, as quoted by Firstpost.

The appeal was also against the five-year term he was sentenced to in jail for the same case. Saraswat continued, “He will have to keep the court informed of any such plans before leaving the country like the dates, the location and the stay”.

The further matters of the appeal which weren’t concluded will be done so on Thursday.
