Salman Khan declines offer to host ‘Bigg Boss 13’ extension

Not so long ago, it was reported that the makers of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ had offered Salman Khan a big fat cheque for him to continue to host the show as it was being extended. News now has it that Khan has declined the offer due to his commitments to his big screen projects.

Khan currently has his hands full with ‘Dabangg 3’ and ‘Radhe’. “His basic currency is his audience in the theatres and that’s why he declined the extension despite the channel offering him a large remuneration. But the fact is that he was only contracted to host the show for 15 weeks and he will be duly completing his job there,” Deccan Chronicle reports a source stating.

It went on to say, “Accusing him of not doing the show now is not right because he is fulfilling what has been written in black and white and he will not like to miss the Eidi he has been giving his fans year after year.”

Here’s hoping Khan’s sacrifice and commitment to his film pays off in the way he wants it to.
