Salman Khan confirms producing first web-series

With a number of credible Bollywood and television stars stepping into the digital space, it now has been confirmed that superstar Salman Khan will be producing his first web-series.

Talking to Filmfare, Khan was asked if he had plans to join the digital bandwagon. He said, “Yes, I might. It’s in the pipeline. There are friends with whom we have been unable to do films. So we can do such shows with them. I’m venturing into television not to make money but for more and more directors, producers and actors to get involved. I’m told since we’re just producers; the channel would be taking a call on everything. I might have to get into that as well (Smiles).”

Khan is currently producing ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and turning producer for ‘Nach Baliye 9’ on Star Plus. On the film front, he has ‘Dabangg 3’, ‘Inshallah’ and ‘Kick 2’ in the pipeline.
