Salman Khan completes 30 years in Bollywood

Salman Khan who turned 54 last week and welcomed a new baby niece on the same day, also has another reason to celebrate, as he completes 30-years in Bollywood.

Reported on TOI, Khan said it wouldn’t have been possible to have had a successful career in Bollywood had if it not been for the constant support and love from his fans. “A big thank you to the people who have made me who I am, my fans and well-wishers alike. The most important thing in an actor’s life is the journey and my journey has been nothing short of amazing.”

The ‘Sultan’ (2016) star also added that many “brilliant” people have shaped him into the person he is today, “I have seen so much and met so many brilliant people along the way who have taught me so much and carved me into the person that I am. My motivation to work has always been the fans who give me unconditional love and it is because of them that I am always striving to deliver my best to them.”

Khan made his debut with ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ (1988) and thereafter he bagged his first lead role in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ (1989), which released 30-years ago today. Over the three decades, Khan has done an array of films ranging from romance, comedy to action packed drama.

His latest release ‘Dabangg 3’ (2019) looks set to become his 15th consecutive film to reach the 100 crore club. Khan’s next will be ‘Radhe’ and ‘Kick 2’, both slated for release in 2020.
