Salman Khan acquitted in black-buck poaching case

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan has been acquitted in the 1998 black-buck poaching case by the Rajasthan High Court.

Khan had been embroiled in the controversy since shooting for ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ nearly 20 years ago. Khan’s sister Alvira was present in court, with their lawyer. He was cleared in two separate incidents – killing a blackbuck and a chinkara.

The case was filed against Khan by the forest department.
