Salman & Katrina brand becomes attractive to advertisers


With the release of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ around the corner, much buzz is surrounding the reunion of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif on the silver screen.

Reports suggest that big brands are generating interest in the popular on-screen couple. Deccan Chronicle reports that Kaif is not signing on endorsements with Khan but they may feature in commercials that are co-branded to promote the film.

A source told the publication, “If a brand were to sign them up together, it is expensive to get them onboard. But when it comes to film promotions and co-branded activities, the costs are much lower because they are designed as promotional activities for the films too. Shah Rukh Khan was the first actor-producer, who offered these deals to brands and managed a huge Rs 52 crore as funds when it came to releasing his film Ra.One. And now it will be the much-awaited Salman-Katrina jodi that will come together for such activities.”

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ releases on 22nd December 2017.
