Salim Khan suggests cuts in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’

Salim Khan, the father of Salman Khan has reportedly asked the makers of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ for cuts to reduce the length of the movie.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, ���Salim Saab is always consulted by all of Salman�۪s directors for his opinion after a film is completed. Sooraj Barjatya is no exception. He showed the film to Salim Saab, who loved it. But he suggested that the running time of nearly three hours was too much for today�۪s audience.�۝

Only last week, BizAsia reported that Salman had requested the same change to bring down the film’s running time. ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has around 12 songs and thus the songs could be shortened or omitted completely.
