Salim Khan confirms daughter Arpita’s engagement to Aayush Sharma

BizAsia reported only yesterday of the rumour that sister of Salman Khan, Arpita, could well be getting engaged soon to her beau Aayush Sharma. In confirmation, father Salim Khan has confirmed that his daughter is engaged to be married.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Khan confirmed, “We are not the ones to finalise the marriages of any of our children. It�۪s all up to them. Yes, Arpita is going ahead with Aayush Sharma, he is a sensible person. Both of them need to evaluate their relationship as they need to live together for the rest of their lives. The families have met and have given consent to their relationship. They have taken some time out in order to settle down professionally”.

Sharma is apparently wanting to pursue an acting career and is in Mumbai to try his luck at just that. Khan further added, “…��Aayush, who is trying his luck in the film industry, is all game for it. But if it does not work out he will fall back on his family business. At the moment, we need to give him time to fulfil his dreams”.

“Arpita is our beloved daughter and we will stand by her side always. More than falling in love it is important to be able to carry forward the relationship. Their marriage will take place sometime next year,” concluded Khan.

Sharma is from Delhi and rumours began when he joined the family on a vacation. It is believed that both families met and gave their blessing to the couple.
