Sajid Nadiadwala cancels ‘Baaghi 2’ success bash to support Salman Khan

Sajid Nadiadwala has cancelled the success party for ‘Baaghi 2’ (2018) due to an emergency trip to Jodhpur after Salman Khan was found guilty in the blackbuck poaching case.

The party was scheduled for 6th April to celebrate ‘Baaghi 2’ entering the 100-crore club, Pune Mirror reported. However, Nadiadwala decided to cancel the bash to support Khan, his long-time friend and collaborator, after his conviction.

Khan has been sentenced to a jail term of five years and a Rs. 10,000 fine. According to a statement released by his lawyer Anand Desai, the appeal hearing is scheduled for 6th April. The actor’s co-accused: Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre, have been acquitted.

Nadiadwala and Khan had announced ‘Kick 2’ earlier this year, scheduled to release on Christmas, 2019.
