Sajid Khan finds his ‘Himmatwala’ heroine

Sajid Khan and Ajay Devgn will come together for ‘Himmatwala’ (2013) which will be the remake of the hit from 1983 of the same name. Khan has now finalised the actress to star opposite Devgn.

South star Tamannaah Bhatia has bagged the role that Sridevi did with aplomb in the original which featured Jeetendra in the lead.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, she said, “I am looking forward to the film. I will be starring opposite Ajay Devgn I�۪m very excited to be doing Sridevi�۪s role. It�۪s a huge responsibility since it was one of her first Hindi films. She�۪s been an inspiration to me, so I�۪m looking forward to meeting her and hopefully, getting some tips as well.”

The filming of ‘Himmatwala’ will commence in August, once Ajay is done with the promotion of ‘Bol Bachchan’ (2012) and the filming of ‘Son Of Sardar’ has finished.
