‘Saiyaara’ takes No.1 spot on Netflix as non-English film globally
Mohit Suri’s romantic drama ‘Saiyaara’, helmed by Yash Raj Films, has taken the world by storm, officially becoming the No.1 non-English film globally on Netflix. In its debut week on the platform, the film amassed an impressive 3.7 million views and 9.3 million watch hours, surpassing international titles like ‘Fall For Me’ and ‘Inspector Zende’.
Starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, ‘Saiyaara’ explores the emotional journey of a temperamental singer and a gifted songwriter whose love is tested by early-onset Alzheimer’s. The film has resonated deeply with audiences, particularly younger viewers, thanks to its heartfelt narrative and chart-topping soundtrack.
