Saira Banu says Dilip Kumar is recovering

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar is recovering after being hospitalised at the weekend, according to his wife Saira Banu.

Banu told PTI, that he was on the road to recovery but needs a lot of rest. She said, “This morning he got up and had tea. He needs to rest. I thank all the fans and well wishers for their prayers and request them to continue with it.”

When asked when he will be discharged, Banu said, “He will come home soon.”

The 90-year old actor was taken to hospital on Sunday after suffering a heart attack. He is still in ICU.
