Saira Banu comes out in support of husband AR Rahman after alleged link-up
Saira Banu and AR Rahman recently announced their separation after 29 years of marriage, sparking widespread speculation and rumours. Among these was an alleged link between Rahman and bassist Mohini Dey, which has been making rounds online.
In response, Banu released an audio statement today, urging people to refrain from making false allegations against the renowned musician.
She said, “I’m currently in Bombay. I’ve been physically unwell for the last couple of months, which is why I decided to take a break from AR. However, I request YouTubers and the Tamil media to please stop saying anything negative about him. He is a gem of a person, the best man in the world.”
