Saina Nehwal biopic to be directed by Amole Gupte

With biopics becoming quite a favourite for Indian audiences, it seems film makers can’t seem to get enough of making them either. News has it that film maker Amole Gupte will soon be the next one to venture out in this genre.

According to Times of India, Gupte plans on basing his next project on the life of one of the world’s best badminton players Saina Nehwal. Reports read that Gupta met Nehwal at her house where she revealed all about her life and her journey to a successful sports career.

With a story almost in place it looks like Gupte will be getting to casting a shooting soon.
