Saima Ajram to leave BBC Asian Network

BBC Asian Network presenter Saima Ajram has confirmed that she will be leaving the station later this month.

She took to Twitter to announce the news. She said, “So my special announcement is that I’m moving to #Pakistan and I’m leaving the @bbcasiannetwork. My last show is on the 24th September xxx”

During her show, Ajram has interviewed some of the biggest Pakistani music and film stars over the years. Her replacement is yet to be announced.

Incidentally, Ajram also walked away with the ‘Best Radio Show’ at the Pakistani Music and Media Awards 2017 (pictured) last night in Birmingham.
