Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Omkara’ character in spin-off?

Saif Ali Khan’s Langda Tyagi in 2006’s ‘Omkara’ was appreciated by many. BizAsiaLive.com has heard that filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is to make a spin-off just on that character.

A source revealed to Mid-Day, “Omkara surprised critics and viewers alike, with Saif receiving accolades for his performance. No one could have pulled off the character like he did. The script for the spin-off is currently being written. There have been multiple propositions on how to create the narrative. The story will put the spotlight on how this man became the way he is”.

Abhishek Chaubey and Robin Bhatt are expected to join Bhardwaj in writing the script for the film and Ali Khan is already on board, it seems.
