Saif Ali Khan walks out of Reema Kagti’s ‘Mr Chaalu’?

Earlier this year, BizAsia reported that Saif Ali Khan and Kangna Ranaut were to be seen in Excel Entertainment’s forthcoming film ‘Mr Chaalu’, to be directed by Reema Kagti. However, recent buzz suggests that Khan has since walked out of the project.

It is thought that those in Excel Entertainment wanted Khan to reduce his fees for the film because he’s had a bad run of films lately. Khan, of course, felt differently and when an agreement could not be reached, he has apparently left the film.

The film is believed to now have a schedule commencing in March so that a new male lead can be finalised.
