He’s a successful actor in his own right, though with ‘Bullett Raja’ releasing today, Saif Ali Khan seems to have a lot at stake regarding its success.
Also starring Sonakshi Sinha, the Tigmanshu Dhulia directorial focuses on a connection between gangsters and political parties. Talking about working with Dhulia, ZEE Newsreported Khan explaining, “Iwanted to work with Tigmanshu he is quite multiplex and single screen type director. `Bullett Raja` is like single screen kind of film. If the film doesn’t do well… Then I will be in trouble. I am looking to do work that is slightly out of my comfort zone, I hope it works for me.”
Having been in the Indian film industry for over 20 years now, Khan is still not very keen on the things that come with being a huge star, “I don`t like stardom… It is not important for me. I want to be respected as a person and money can do that. I don`t like people making noise, camera flashing, drama and three security guards walking with you.. It is horrible.”
Unfortunately for Khan, these things won’t be coming to an end anytime soon. Let’s just hope he’s keeping his fingers crossed for ‘Bullett Raja’ after the debacle of ‘Go Goa Gone’ earlier this year.
