With a lukewarm response to his latest release ‘Laal Kaptaan’, Saif Ali Khan is now reportedly set to work with the National Award-winning director, Vinod Kapri, who previously helmed ‘Pihu’.
A source told Mid-Day, “The story is inspired by true events where a soldier had separated from his regiment in a jungle. The film is a gritty take on how the protagonist manages to navigate his way in the jungle and survives the rough terrain. Saif has heard the plot points and expressed his interest in the project. He has yet to allot the dates.”
Khan is also set to be seen in digital series ‘Tandav’ and is reportedly going to share screen space with Aamir Khan on the remake of Tamil film ‘Vikram Vedha’.
