Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in ‘Happy Ending’ (2014), has apparently become very selective about the films he will be signing henceforth. The actor’s last few films failed to spark at the Box Office and he is therefore being more careful about what he signs. If all goes well, he may well be starring in Vikramaditya Motwane’s next film.
According to a source quoted by Mumbai Mirror, the film is said to be a “crazy-thriller with oodles of high-octane stunts and deadpan humour”.
The source went on to add that though Ali Khan has been approached for the film, the actor “wants to be convinced that it’s a role that suits his age and personality, before he goes ahead with it.”
Motwane has previously directed ‘Udaan’ (2010) and ‘Lootera’ (2013). He was then working on ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ for quite some time, which was to star Sushant Singh Rajput, however, that film was later shelved.
Ali Khan is also expected to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s adaptation of ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’, Sameer Sharma’s ‘Jugalbandi’ and Vishal Bhardwaj’s next.
