Saif Ali Khan returns to action

It seems there is no end to Saif Ali Khan’s talent. Not long after giving a light-hearted performance in ‘Cocktail’, Khan is now tipped to be returning to an action hero avatar in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next, titled ‘Bullet Raja’.

Dhulia spoke to IANS where he confirmed the news, “My next film will be an action film with Saif Ali Khan. The film is titled ‘Bullet Raja’. The film will go on floors in November and will be shot in and around Lucknow”. The film will be surrounding the underworld and will delve into the workings of the Uttar Pradesh mafia.

Recently, reports have stated that the actor’s character may be similar to Langda Tyagi in ‘Omkara’ (2006) which he received much critical acclaim for. However, Dhulia is quick to say otherwise, “The character in my film is not like Langda Tyagi at all. Once I only said that when Saif, who is a very urban guy, can carry the role of Langda Tyagi in ‘Omkara’ so convincingly, then he can do any role. So people are drawing my reference in a different way”.

‘Bullet Raja’ is set to begin filming in November.
