Saif Ali Khan on Sara Ali Khan’s film debut

With Sara Ali Khan making her much awaited debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s next ‘Kedarnath’, father Saif Ali Khan has spoken about how she has inherited the acting genes from the family.

Talking to Mid-Day, Saif said, “Her choice is great and I am thrilled and excited about her first outing. She comes from a family of artistes, so acting is something she has inherited. I am happy that Sara is doing something she is passionate about.”

Saif also reiterated his statement about show-business being an unstable career path. He said, “I am still a little concerned as it’s an unsure profession. But I support her decision. I tell her to read the script properly. She is a smart kid and has many well wishers around her, including her mother (Amrita Singh), me, and Karan Johar among others. She can come to us for advice.”
