Saif Ali Khan & Sajid Khan become friends again

Earlier this year, the failure of ‘Humshakals’ (2014) caused a lot of drama for many involved in the film. Two people in particular were Saif Ali Khan and Sajid Khan who both had a falling out, and even going on record to express their hatred for each other. However it seems, the actor and director have put their differences behind them and have patched things up.

After Ali Khan expressed how he never wanted to work with the director again, it really felt like a real friendship had been broken forever. However, the actor has now expressed that he will always have a place for Khan in his heart. “It was emotional.I really do love Sajid like a brother,” Times of Indiareported the actor stating.

He went onto say, “I missed Sajid in my life. His absence was really bothering me. I missed him so much during Diwali because he is a great card player and we have spent time together earlier. Believe me, I even had five dreams about Sajid. I had been telling Kareena (Kapoor Khan) about it. She, too, was happy when I made up with him. She knew it was important for me and felt that I had done the right thing.”

Stating how he just had better expectations of the film, Ali Khan went onto add how he Ritesh Deshmukh who also starred in the film and Khan worked harder than ever on the film, and it was just upsetting not getting the reward they wanted.

When contacted, the director was also just as pleased to have his friend back in his life, “Work is temporary but friendship lasts forever. I’m so happy that Saif and I kissed and made up. We are like-minded people and just like he missed having me in his life, I missed him too. Frankly, I don’t think either of us laughs so much with anyone else as we do when he, Riteish and I are together.”

It’s promising to see that even after such a sour break-up, the actor’s of the Hindi film industry are keeping the bro-mance alive. Despite their recent film together not working well, here’s hoping their next adventures will see much more success.
