Saif Ali Khan reacts to people calling stabbing incident “fake”

Saif Ali Khan has responded to those who labeled his recent stabbing incident as “fake.”

Speaking publicly for the first time about the ordeal, Khan told Times of India, “Kareena had gone out for dinner, and I had some work in the morning, so I stayed home. She came back, we chatted, and then went to sleep. Later, the househelp rushed in and said, ‘There’s an intruder! There’s a guy in Jeh’s room with a knife asking for money!’ It was around 2 a.m. I lost it and rushed in, and saw a man holding what I thought were two sticks over Jeh’s bed – but it was actually a hexa blade.”

Khan continued, “I immediately ran in and pulled him down, and we started wrestling.” He also mentioned that while he struggled with the intruder, Kareena took Jeh and moved him to Taimur’s room.

Addressing the people who dismissed the incident as a “PR stunt,” Saif said, “It’s natural for there to be different reactions to something like this. Some people will ridicule it, others won’t believe it, and some will make jokes. That’s fine because it adds color to life. If everyone responded sympathetically, it would be dull and boring. I expected this, so there’s no need to react to it.”
