Saif Ali Khan to play warrior in next?

BizAsiaLive.com reported a while ago that Saif Ali Khan had been approached for Aanand L Rai’s next production, to be directed by Navdeep Singh. The actor would be seen as a warrior in the film, should he decide to go ahead and sign it.

“Saif has heard the script and really liked it but is yet to sign on the dotted line. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and everything will be locked in a couple of months,” said a source, according to Pune Mirror. The film will reportedly be based on the story of The Battle of Buxar.

Rai’s spokesperson gave comment, “We’ll be happy to have Saif on board with this film. The talks are on and official announcements will follow soon”.
