Saif Ali Khan on Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback: “You can’t write anybody off”

Saif Ali Khan is one of the few seasoned stars who has reinvented himself whenever there is a shift in the industry. Having been through the same career dilemmas as Shah Rukh Khan is experiencing currently, he believes that this is merely a bump in the road for a superstar like SRK.

During an India Today E-Conclave interview, Khan shared, “SRK, if he is finding a little bit of a tricky time on which film to do or how to be seen, I don’t know I was thinking about it the other day. Maybe he is so strongly identified with a certain era and becoming the face of Bollywood, on many different platforms. So he has become synonymous with a certain era and when that era passes, you probably need to re-adjust. But he, like all of them, are amazing survivors. You can’t write anybody off, there are good times bad times and they have seen it all. There’s a particular resilience to a 90’s actor let me tell you and it’s just a question of finding that right project.”

SRK may still be contemplating on his next film, but Khan already has ‘Dil Bechara’ and ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ on his schedule.
