Saif Ali Khan may change son Taimur’s name

Following the furore surrounding Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur’s name, the actor has admitted he thought about changing his baby’s name and may still do so.  However wife Kareena Kapoor Khan is against the idea.

Khan considered a change so that it didn’t cause his son trouble later in life but his wife reminded him of his personal values.  The actor had even written out a PR letter but it was discarded as he felt he was giving into pressure and it did not feel right.

However, speaking to The Times of India, he still hasn’t ruled out the idea saying “And I still might, maybe when he’s one or two, I might change his name in a while, it’s still sinking in, what to do…. If I feel that he’s going to get in trouble in school, I might still change it. It’s a bit late now, though. Or not. I don’t know”.

Clearly the whole issue has affected the ‘Rangoon’ actor deeply but for the moment he is sticking to his principles.
