Saif Ali Khan ends spat with Ramesh Taurani over remuneration

Saif Ali Khan has finally ended his spat with producer Ramesh Taurani over the financials for their upcoming film together.

The film, which will be directed by Mohit Suri, was put on hold while the two resolved their issues. The problem had become so serious that Taurani had begun scouting for other more “affordable” actors for his film.

A source close to the production house (Tips) told Mumbai Mirror, “Saif has agreed to lower his price to an extent and return to Mohit’s film.”

The film goes on the floors in March 2015. A female lead opposite Khan is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, plans for ‘Race 3’ with Khan and Tauri are still in the pipeline, with reports that the film could be commence shooting mid-2015. “Saif’s character, Ranvir Singh, is the face of the Race franchise. Saif and Taurani are too professional to let old issues come in their way. As things stand now, Saif will definitely be a part of Race 3. Financial disagreements do happen in the film industry,” the source told Mumbai Mirror.
