Saif Ali Khan: “As an actor I have evolved to a huge amount”

Belonging from a royal family of talent Saif Ali Khan blessed the film industry with some outstanding performances in films like ‘Omkara'(2006), ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2009),’Dil Chahta Hai ‘(2001), ‘Race’ (2008) and ‘Race 2’ (2013). The actor will now complete his 25th year in the industry next year. The actor who has tried all genres of emotion on screen feel lucky to associated with the industry for almost two decades.

During the promotional event in Delhi of his upcoming venture ‘Chef’ he told Times Of India, “I think as an actor I have evolved to a huge amount. I am also very happy. I think I am the most suited to this time which is great. Some people may feel out of time. I remember when I joined the industry, guys like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were just little bit senior to me and I always wish they stay on top like they are now because that means I have slug for few more years.”

While going down the memory lane the actor feels that he has evolved for better as an actor from where he started, while talking the start from the start Khan quoted, “But films were different in the 90’s. I feel our generation has made things quite cool by giving a heart and soul to the profession. And I am proud of that. I feel it’s a great time and I feel very comfortable today because with the kind of sensibility the films are now made, suits mentally which is wonderful.”

Khan will be seen in ‘Chef’, out later this week.
