Sahara One to launch ‘Hamari Beti Raj Karegi’

Sahara One is set to revamp its weekday primetime schedule with yet another new launch later this month.

The show produced by Edit2, titled ‘Hamari Beti Raj Karegi’ is based in Kanpur and revolves around a girl whose life gets difficult after her marriage.

Ravi Bhatia and Aditi Sajwan will be playing the lead roles in the show, plus Shagufta Ali, who was last seen in ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ and in a small cameo of ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, will be seen in a prominent role.

‘Hamari Beti Raj Karegi’ will launch on Sahara One India on Monday 20th December at 20:30 (replacing ‘Ek Chutki Aasman’). The show is expected to launch on Sahara One UK in early-January. It is not yet known where ‘Ek Chutki Aasman’ will move to. There are rumours that the long-running Rajshri produced drama ‘Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’ will be axed to make way for other new shows.

Only recently, the channel launched ‘Ganga Ki Dheej’ in the 22:00 slot.
