Sahara One to axe ‘Neem…’ for Rajshri show?

Sahara One is looking likely to axe the troubled show ‘Neem Neem Shahad Shahad’ next month, to make way for Rajshri Productions’ new drama ‘Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga’.

According to a report on TellyChakkar, since the death of Baa and Hasmuklal�۪s (Surendra Pal) characters in the show, viewers lost interest and TRPs started falling. The production house thought that the death sequence will hike up ratings, but all plans fell flat and the idea proved to be a big flop.

It is possible that ‘Neem Neem Shahad Shahad’ may find reprieve and move from its current 21:30 time band to a post 22:00 slot but this is yet to be confirmed.
