In a move to become a stronger player in the saturated Hindi entertainment TV market, Sahara One will be undergoing its biggest makeover yet with a complete new output in March.

According to reports, Sahara will be introducing two new channels in India – one which will concentrate on fiction programming and the other current affairs and news. How the change will reflect on international beams including UK and USA is yet to be confirmed. The broadcaster confirmed that the changes were imminent.

A source told Times Of India, “Coming March, Sahara One will see a change in its board of directors and accordingly, Boney Kapoor will leave his seat as his contract is on its verge to end in March. Interestingly, a senior head from Sahara Star would take his vacant place.”

Recently, Boney Kapoor quit the organisation. Meanwhile Sandeep Bhargava joined Sahara One Motion Pictures as its new CEO.
