Sahara One confirms launch date for ‘SurKshetra’

Sahara One has confirmed that its much delayed singing talent show ‘SurKshetra’ will be launching in September.

The show has been pitted against other major reality TV shows in the weekend evening slot. Starting from Saturday 8th September, ‘SurKshetra’ will be shown on Saturday and Sunday nights.

‘SurKshetra’ will be simulcast on premium channel Colors worldwide. In the UK, the broadcaster is yet to confirm whether it will broadcast on Colors UK or on its new Hindi entertainment channel, Rishtey.

Produced by Sahara One, ��SurKshetra�۪ will be a cross-border musical battle between the Indian Team, captained by Himesh Reshammiya and the Pakistani Team, captained by Atif Aslam. Evaluating the teams and judging the musical flair that resides in the subcontinent will be the Legends ��� Asha Bhosle (India), Abida Parveen (Pakistan), and Runa Laila (Bangladesh) ��� who have been an integral part in shaping the music industry.
