Sahara One announces new primetime schedule

In its biggest primetime schedule revamp to date, Sahara One has announced some major changes taking place next month in the UK.

As already reported on��BizAsia.co.uk, out go shows like ‘Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’ and ‘Bitto’ and in their places will come ‘Rishton Ki Bhawar Main Ulji…Niyati’ and ‘Hai Padosi…Kaun Hai Doshi’ respectively.

While a lot has been written about ‘Niyati’ – a show raising the question to all about whether a girl after marriage should get detached completely with her maayka and forget her parents when she enters her husband’s family. The second new show ‘Padosi’ is a sitcom. Sanjeeda Shaikh who played the lead character in ‘Nimmo in Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’ will be playing the comical lead in this romantic comedy.

A third new show is also entering the schedule called ‘Kaala Saaya’, which will be a horror. This will launch in the 23:00 slot, resulting in ‘Shorr’ moving to 23:30. ‘Kaala Saaya’ is a revamped version of the show ‘Black’, which aired on 9X previously. The show will start off as ‘Black’ then will be continued where 9X left with new episodes.

Starting from Monday 7th February, the new Sahara One weekday (Monday – Friday) schedule will look as below:
