Sahara One & Aastha TV tie-up for ad sales

India’s popular entertainment channel Sahara One and spirtitual channel Aastha TV have tied up in India for advertising sales.

Announcing this Shantonu Aditya, CEO, Sahara One Media And Entertainment Limited, said, ���I am pleased to inform that we have signed an ad sales agreement with the nation�۪s top spiritual and lifestyle channel, Aastha. Starting 1st February 2006, the sales team of Sahara One Television will be responsible for all ad sales of Aastha for its India feed.�۝

Over the last six months, Sahara One Television has been gaining popularity amongst both, viewers and advertisers, with its engrossing mix of general entertainment fiction and non-fiction shows. �۝Over the past three month the ad-sales team of Sahara One has given a strong performance as a result of which ad revenue has increased several-fold,�۝ Aditya said, adding, Our agreement with Aastha is a reflection of the industry�۪s confidence in our strong potential, and I am sure that together, Sahara One Television and Aastha will provide even greater reach, value and effectiveness to advertisers.�۝ It is significant that in the fast growing C&S TV Market, the genres of Spirituality and Lifestyle have an increasing number of viewers.
