Sadhana to be honoured posthumously at Sindhi Film Fest

Legendary actress of yesteryear Sadhana, who sadly passed away on the 25th December 2015 after a battle with cancer, will be honoured at the Sindhi Film Festival in Delhi, BizAsia has come to know. The two day fest will be held on 26th and 27th March 2016 and has been dedicated to Sadhana who began her illustrious film career with India’s first Sindhi film ‘Abaana in 1958.

The aforementioned event is a coordinated effort between Delhi government and Sindhi Academy, which will be attended by key dignitaries such as Kapil Mishra, Delhi’s Art and Culture Minister as chief guest and Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s Chief Minister.

Preeti Jhangiani and Deepti Naval will also be attending the award ceremony. Naval, who was a close friend of Sadhana, will be accepting her posthumous award.
