‘Sacred Games 2’ budget worth Rs. 100 crore?

Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Sacred Games 2’ has been revealed to have a staggering budget of Rs. 100 crore, following the success of the Netflix original ‘Sacred Games’.

A source has told Bollywood Hungama, “Revealing the details, an industry insider says that while usually each episode of an original could cost between Rs. 3- 4 cr with a total budget around the vicinity of Rs. 50 cr, Netflix has gone above and beyond for season 2.”

The producers have reached a general consensus that the second season should up the first in terms of the complexity, which naturally will run a higher cost to produce.

‘Sacred Games 2’ is slated to release 15th August.
