Sachin Tendulkar, AR Rahman approached to be Goodwill Ambassadors

When it was announced that Salman Khan was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for India for the 2016 Rio Olympics, many sports personalities weren’t very happy about the decision. In an aim to put things right, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) have now also approached Sachin Tendulkar, AR Rahman and Olympic Gold shooter Abhinav Bindra for the position.

“We are in communication with Sachin Tendulkar and AR Rahman to become brand ambassadors of the Indian Olympic contingent. We are yet to get their reply,”��NDTV reported��Tarlochan Singh, Vice President of IOA, revealing.

When contacted, Bindra had told the media he would make his decision about the offer once he has received all the details.
