Sachin-Jigar replaced by Amaal Mallik for ‘Simran’?

Kangna Ranaut is all set to star in Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’. It seems Mehta hs now roped in Amaal Mallik to compose the soundtrack, even though he was not the original choice.

It’s thought that Mehta has approached Mallik after Sachin-Jigar were unable to keep to the three-month deadline he had set them. Said a source to Spotboye, “Hansalji had given Sachin-Jigar 3 months to compose the scratch of the songs, but they could complete only one track. Hansalji could not afford to give them more time as Kangana is already in the US to shoot for the film. So, at the eleventh hour, he roped in Amaal”.

Mallik was unavailable for comment.
