Sabras Radio ties up with Leicester Asian Film Festival

The Midlands most popular Asian radio station, Sabras Radio has announced its partnership with the first ever Leicester Asian Film Festival.

The event takes place between 16th and 19th March 2017 at Phoenix Cinema. It will screen the UK premiere of Gujarati film ‘Wrong Side Raju’. It’s about driver Raju, who hopelessly falls for French visitor, Shaily. His romantic slow motion life suddenly plummets to a halt, when he is involved in a hit and run incident, involving Shaily’s close friend Tanmay.

As well as ‘Wrong Side Raju’, LeAFF will also showcase Barun Sobti’s football drama ‘You Are My Sunday’ and ‘Mantostaan’ on Friday 17th March, ‘Those Four Walls’, ‘Mango Dreams’ and ‘Bazodee’ on Saturday 18th March and ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ closes the festival on Sunday 19th March.

Leicester Asian Film Festival has been brought together by Leicester’s arts organisations Phizzical and Phoenix Cinema, De Montfort University and London Asian Film Festival. The online media partner for the event is BizAsiaLive.com .
