Sabras Radio launches special Uganda 50 radio station in Leicester

Sabras Radio has launched a special RSL (Restricted Service Licence) to mark the 50th anniversary of fleeing Ugandan Asians arriving in Leicester.

The station known as Uganda 50 launched today (3rd July) and will broadcast for the next one month. Uganda 50 is being broadcast in Leicester on 94.1FM from Sabras Radio’s studios in Melton Road.

The special broadcast will coincide with a huge free two-day event set to take place in Leicester’s Abbey Park on 30th and 31st July 2022. The station will also broadcast live from the event.
