Sabras Radio & Jay’s Ent. tie-up for Leicester awards
The Midland’s leading commercial Asian radio station, Sabras Radio has announced its partnership with Jay’s Entertainment for its first ever event to commemorate Asian talent across Leicester.
The ‘Leicester Asian Glitz Awards’ (The LAGAs) will be the first ever event of its kind showcasing Asian talent from across the city and beyond. The announcement was made earlier today on Sabras Radio, where it will help drive nominations prior to the main event taking place on Saturday 1st April at the Ramgharia Hall, Leicester.
With categories for singing, dancing, djing, presenting, broadcasting and so much more. Listeners of the station are being urged to nominate for their favourite artists in each category before Tuesday 7th February 2017. The top six nominees in each category will then be shortlisted to get votes for their finals.

It’s the first and only kind of event being held in the city, so its time to show all that we’re talented beyond the football premier league!”
The final event will have be of a glitzy standard, complete with a red-carpet entrance, along with canapes and a black-tie dress-code. Celebrity performers and the show’s host will be announced in due course.
Tickets for the event go on sale next week, which will include standard tickets and VIP tables.
