Sabras Radio invites London listeners to create music playlist

As part of understanding its listeners needs and demand of service, Sabras Radio has launched an online form asking listeners in London to create a music playlist they would want to hear from a radio station.

With this exercise, Sabras Radio London is giving listeners a chance to turn into “presenters” by letting them select ten songs they would play on their show. Or alternatively, giving them control over the kind of music they would want to hear from a new young Asian radio service in London. Listeners can select from various genres of music including UK Asian music, Bhangra, RnB, Hip-Hop and Bollywood. Interested listeners can click here to submit their music playlists.

Sabras Radio London is planning a new young service to breakaway from the regular Bollywood driven content on existing stations in London. Sabras Radio London is one of six broadcasters competing for the 963 and 972AM licence in Greater London. The frequencies currently home Sunrise Radio. Lyca Radio, Asian Fx, London Air Radio and Masti Radio are other competitors for the licence.
