The Midland’s popular Asian station, Sabras Radio has announced a slew of activities to celebrate its 21st year on-air.

Celebrating its birthday on Wednesday 7th September, Sabras Radio will giveaway cash prizes every hour, starting from 07:00. Listeners will require to tune in every hour to a “cue to call” after. They will then need to go live on-air to answer a question relating to Sabras Radio from a question behind 21 boxes. Each box will decide the fate of their prize. Cash prizes for the day will go up to 300.

As well as hourly prizes, Sabras Radio will mix-up its on-air presenters with an on-air party. Presenters from various shows will “pop in” during the day to talk about their association with Sabras Radio. The station’s flagship show ‘Breakfast’ will kick off the celebrations from 07:00, hosted usually by just Rishi Modi, but on Wednesday will be joined by ‘Chart Show’ queen, Meera. Furthermore, live callers will share their memories about 21 years of Sabras Radio.

Raj Baddhan, Operations Manager said, “Its a party for our listeners to celebrate their favourite Asian radio station’s success over the past 21 years. Sabras Radio has grown to become a family member for our listeners and we’re giving them something back with an all-day giveaway on our anniversary.”

Sabras Radio has freshened its on-air imaging to reflect the Sabras Radio 21 year celebrations. Plus, it is using the #Sabras21 hashtag to interact with listeners and supporters during the momentous occasion.
