Sabras Radio announces Navratri 2017 plans

Sabras Radio has announced its plans for Navratri 2017.

This year, the popular Midlands’ radio station will be holding a free one-day grand event at The Jungle Club on Sunday 24th September. The event coincides with the station’s annual celebrations, which are usually held at the station’s studios. However, due to its growing size and demand, Sabras Radio has decided to venture out and take it to a bigger venue.

Navratri 2017 sponsored by Sony Entertainment Television, will be held between 14:00 – 17:00, with doors opening at 13:00. The show will be broadcast live on-air and on Sabras Radio’s Facebook live. It features some of the biggest bands including Vikram Nazama’s Kalaya Group, Rajendra Pala’s Nirmala Arts and local artists Maher Girls and Sajan Odedra.

As well as this event, Sabras Radio has also tied up with Music Arts for their annual Navtratri event taking place between 20th and 30th September at The Platinum Suite. Sabras Radio is the official media partner of the event, further strengthening the station’s support for community events.

Raj Baddhan, Director, Sabras Radio said, “We’ve taken on board feedback from our listeners for a bigger venue for Navratri celebrations and thus this year’s event will be on a grand scale at The Jungle Club. The free event is expected to attract hundreds of listeners as it has always done over the years. We’re excited to be teaming up with Jungle Club for this. As well as this, Sabras Radio ties up with Music Arts’ for their Navratri event for the first time. Sabras Radio is celebrating the colours of Gujarat in a huge way, not only for Navratri but also for Diwali this year.”

Navratri 2017 on Sabras Radio will air on Sunday 24th September between 14:00 – 17:00.
