Sabras Radio announces Leicester Mela 2016

Sabras Radio has announced the artist line-up for this year’s Leicester Mela.

The huge event, which takes place on Sunday 21st August in Leicester City Centre, will feature a range of UK Asian artists with a fusion of Bhangra, Bollywood and Urban sounds. Sabras Radio announced the full line-up in Rishi Modi’s Breakfast show this morning. The following will feature in Sabras Radio’s slot between 16:30 and 19:00:

– Arjun
– Jay Kadn
– Rana Sahota
– Jagtar Dulai
– Kadam Verma
– Sheeba Khan
– Amrita Khalsi – Female dhol player

Sabras Radio is also the first UK Asian station to get itself a Snapchat filter, which will be available on the day at the Leicester Mela. The filter will have Sabras Radio Leicester Mela branding on it. It will also be running a ‘Sabras Got Talent’ segment inviting listeners to participate in a talent hunt contest.
