Saba Qamar: “I love & respect the Indian film industry”

With Bollywood stars constantly being made fun of during comedy shows and events, it is more often than not taken very lightly. However when Pakistani actress Saba Qamar did it during a television show “Good Morning Zindagi’ (2017) in Pakistan, it was taken a lot more seriously than she expected.

As Deccan Chronicle reports, the actress took digs at the likes of Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Emraan Hashmi and Riteish Deshmukh. After coming under scrutiny for what she said, Qamar expressed, “Good Morning Zindagi’ is a fun show where they ask you fun questions about Bollywood stars.”

“Whatever I said about each of the actors was said just for fun at that moment. I love and respect the Indian film industry specially Salman Khan is such a huge star and so humble,” she went on to add.

During the show she referred to Deshmukh as a non A-list star, Roshan was one she wouldn’t want to get involved with as he’s a father of two sons and apparently expressed that she wouldn’t want to get oral cancer from Hashmi in reference to he serial-kisser title. As for Khan, she named him a ‘Chichora’ (cheap person) and also took digs at his dancing skills.

Qamar will be making her own Bollywood debut in a film titled ‘Hindi Medium’ opposite Imran Khan.

Seems like the actress better brush up on her buttering up skills if she want’s to make it in the Indian film business.
