SAB TV UK to air Indian Super League ’15

After BizAsia revealed that Sony Entertainment Television Asia UK had acquired the UK telecast rights for the ongoing Indian Super League, we can now confirm that the tournament will be broadcast free-to-air (Sky) on SAB TV.

Incidentally, the tournament is already underway. It started at the beginning of October, however UK viewers will get to watch the League from only this weekend. Starting on Saturday 17th October, the Indian Super League will be broadcast live at 14:30 (UK) on SAB TV. It will then air every weekend at 14:30 and then highlights Tuesday to Friday at 22:30.

This year the competition is even bigger and better, featuring some of the world�۪s leading players such as the prolific French international striker Nicholas Anelka, Brazilian world cup player, Roberto Carlos who arguably scored the best free kick ever and England and Arsenal midfielder David Platt.

The Indian Super League was previously broadcast on Star TV UK. It is broadcast on Star Sports in India.
