SAB TV to introduce new short films segment

SAB TV, the world’s only Hindi comedy channel is adding new flavour to its line-up with the launch of new light-hearted short films.

In a bid to continue to give other Hindi entertainment channels a run for their money, SAB TV will focus on short comedy films in addition to their regular sitcoms.

According to TellyBuzz, various production houses have already given their go ahead on the idea for weekend short films. Sphere Origin, UTV productions and Optymistix are already planning their films for the channel.

No doubt the films will prove viewers sticking to SAB TV for longer and garnering more eyeballs. Only time will tell how much of a success this concept is for the channel.

SAB TV in the UK is currently free-to-air until the end of this month on Sky Digital channel 816.
