Running time of ‘Padmavati’ to be cut?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for his extravagance and with his films, audiences almost expect the running time to be pretty long. ‘Padmavati’ is apparently 210 minutes long but the filmmaker is looking to cut this.

Bhansali will, of course, be taking into account that the film has three main actors – Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor – and he doesn’t want to let any of them be short-changed. According to Deccan Chronicle, a trade source revealed, “Everyone knows how passionate he is about his film; he is not prejudiced towards any actors. His only passion is cinema and he will make the film according to how best the film can be. He cares for his actors, but he cares for the film much more”.

The film’s trailer is expected to arrive in 3D tomorrow and it will release on 1st December.
